Antao Progetti
Design by Lucio Bolognesi
Antao Progetti is an important architectural agency in the Republic of San Marino. We redesigned Antao’s logo and gave it a contemporary & modern flavor by a balance between the letters’ empties & filled spaces. The 3-rounds part comes from the letters A, A and O.
Research about materials went first: grey paperbox, lycra and other technical ones are taken from everyday worklife of an architect.
DAK – The National Aquarium of Denmark
Guess what the background is yet? I love logo’s that can change continually and look amazing.
The key to the DAK experience is the greatest species diversity in all of Denmark. As well as the opportunity to get close to the life under the oceans. This will not change and has been the inspiration for the new identity.

QR Codes because the Night Belongs to Lovers
With the help of a global smart phone contagion the QR code is becoming more common as its uses are experimented with and practicality and helpfulness tweaked. If it’s easy and makes your life better – why wouldn’t you use it?
QR Codes were created in Japan by Toyota in 1994. QR is the abbreviation for Quick Response, as the creator intended the code to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed. How it works – Scan the barcode with a device that has a QR code reader, then you are directed to either a url, text, phone # or SMS. Google: QR code generator to make a QR code. Post edit May 4 / 2011 – QR code Generator links added at the bottom of the post.
