1:1 Arkitekter
The founders of 1:1 Arkitekter are characterised by their combination of architecture and construction, which is why their solutions can be taken directly from the drawing board and realised and brought to life in the real world.
The new visual identity embraces the company mission – to make things more simple and approachable. Furthermore, 1:1 symbolises the two founders and their unassuming personalities. The symbol reflects the duality in 1:1 Arkitekter in that it can be viewed both as 1:1 and an A. This is further emphasised by the stringent black/white colour scheme.

Ghostly International – Matthew Shlian
Matthew Shlian works within the increasingly nebulous space between art and engineering. As a paper engineer, Shlian’s work is rooted in print media, book arts, and commercial design, though he frequently finds himself collaborating with a cadre of scientists and researchers who are just now recognizing the practical connections between paper folding and folding at microscopic and nanoscopic scales.
Hudson Made
Hudson Made is an online retailer selling highly curated artisanal products from the Hudson Valley, North Country and Brooklyn. Small batches. Limited quantities. 100% American made.
Late-19th century influences of the Bates stamp and the classic practice of letterpress printing hark back to an earlier time, while maintaining the refinement and clean lines of modernity for this brand identity.
The branding also reflects Hudson Made’s emphasis on what is handmade, invoking nostalgia for a time past and a return to the simplicity of production limited to the human touch. Handmade crafts also guarantee each product’s utter uniqueness, and the impossibility of two ever being alike.

Richard Morrison – Watch the Titles
In the early 1970’s, Morrison was a young and ambitious graphic designer working at a production studio in London. Here he ran into title design legend Maurice Binder. Binder asked him to assist him with the production of one of the James Bond title sequences. This led Morrison to pursue movie title design. Morrison got his first “lucky break,” as he calls it, in 1979, when director Franc Roddam asked him to design the main title for Quadrophenia.
Morrison’s body of work includes over one hundred title sequences for film and TV. Notable directors he has worked with (often more than once) include, Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam, Jean-Jacques Annaud, David Lean, Stephen Frears, Kenneth Branagh, Ridley Scott, and Nicolas Roeg.
